Jon Arquette is a contemporary artist and native New Yorker with a passion for city folk and the places we go about our daily lives.
He began shooting for college publications and later taught photography to high school students, helping them discover their own visual language. Today his work continues to evolve, shaped by years of experimenting with camera techniques, attending lectures, and, above all, studying photographs.
For several decades, he has photographed a variety of genres, but he’s mainly drawn to the city. He shoots to capture the street scenes that reflect our stories as we travel to work, home, or to see friends. Jon has created a body of work highlighting several of his favorite Manhattan spots, including Moynihan Train Hall, Soho, and the Village. As much as he loves the City, Jon has a zeal for travel reflected in his collection of images.
